What data do we collect?

  • -Contact information you voluntarily provide (name, email) when you send a request or message
  • -Technical information (IP address, browser, device, approximate location via IP)
  • -Website usage behavior (page views, clicks, and product analytics) — see "Product analytics (PostHog)" below for exactly what this means

Product analytics (PostHog)

  • -We use PostHog, EU-hosted (eu.i.posthog.com) by default, for first-party product analytics — not Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party ad-tech tracker, none of which are installed on siax.io
  • -Analytics is off (no-op, not loaded at all) until a deployment key is configured in our hosting environment — see the source at git.siax.io/sax3l/siax-io
  • -Events tracked: page views, clicks on call-to-action buttons, case-study views, request-form start/submit, LinkedIn sign-in, and completed bookings/requests — always without your name, email, or any free text you typed into a form
  • -Session replay is enabled for debugging and UX improvement, but ALL form fields are masked ("maskAllInputs") — what you type into a field is never visible in a recording
  • -Web vitals (page-load performance) are sent so we can see and fix slow pages
  • -Data is processed by PostHog Inc. in the EU region; see PostHog's own policy at posthog.com/privacy for their processing as our data processor

How do we use the data?

  • -To respond to inquiries and communicate with you
  • -To improve the website and user experience
  • -To analyze usage patterns and conversion flows (aggregated, without personal data in the analytics tool)

Data sharing

  • -We never sell personal data to third parties
  • -Data is only shared with service providers necessary for operations (e.g. PostHog for analytics, see above)
  • -All providers are bound by confidentiality agreements

Your rights

  • -Right to access your data
  • -Right to have data corrected or deleted
  • -Right to object to processing
  • -Right to data portability
  • -You can block analytics cookies/tracking in your browser without breaking the site's core functionality — see the Cookies page

Data controller

  • -SIAX Technology AB (reg. no. 559552-6194), registered office in Ängelholm, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing of your data
  • -For questions about personal data, contact us via the contact form or LinkedIn
