MAKE vs N8N vs ZAPIER
Arbetsflödesautomation från tre olika filosofier: visuell kraft (Make), utvecklarfrihet (n8n) och no-code-enkelhet (Zapier). Vi jämför funktioner, prissättning och verklig passform.

No-code Users
Simplest UI, best template library, easiest onboarding
Developers
Self-hosted, code nodes, full API, open source
Enterprise
Advanced error handling, data transformation, scalable ops pricing
Integration Breadth
7,000+ integrations - nobody else comes close
Data Transformation
Best visual data mapping, JSON/array handling, and iterators
Self-hosting / Air-gap
Only option that can run fully on-premises
Cost at Scale
Self-hosted = zero per-execution cost, cloud is fairly priced
Error Handling
Custom error routes, retry logic, and break modules are best-in-class
Learning Curve
Fastest time-to-first-automation for non-technical users
Complex Workflows
Routers, iterators, aggregators, and sub-scenarios handle any complexity
Simons bedömning
Vi kör alla tre i kundprojekt, och varje verktyg tjänar en annan målgrupp: Make for ops, n8n for engineering, Zapier for everyone else.
Make is my personal favorite. The visual builder is genuinely powerful - routers, iterators, aggregators, and error handlers give you programming-level control without writing code. Our data enrichment pipeline that processes 30+ sources runs on Make, and the operations-based pricing means a complex scenario with 50 steps costs the same as 50 simple ones. That's a massive advantage över Zapier's task-based model.
n8n is what our dev team uses. Self-hosted on our infra, zero per-execution cost, and the ability to write JavaScript directly in nodes makes it perfect for data transformation workflows. If you're a developer who finds Zapier limiting, n8n is the answer. The community is also fantastic - growing fast with quality contributors.
Zapier is what we give to non-technical team members. The template library and simple trigger-action model means our sales team can build their own automations without bothering engineering. But the pricing scales terribly - once you're doing serious volume, the cost per task makes Make or n8n 10-20x cheaper.
If I could only pick one: Make. It hits the sweet spot of power and accessibility. But the real answer is that automation tools are cheap enough to run multiples - pick the right one for each use case.
